Disassembly & dismantling of oil rigs

Effective disassembly of oil rigs

Dismantling right at sea - in the challenging oceanic environment

Due to the scarcity of our oil reserves, the numerous oil rigs in the oceans are no longer of any use. The consequence: The oil rigs need to be dismantled and disposed of.

The disassembly of oil rigs requires qualified dismantling specialists as the oceanic environment presents further difficulties in addition to the dismantling per se.  For ROTH International, working at sea has long ceased to be a challenge, thanks to years of experience. Complete disposal of oil rigs

ROTH International - end-to-end solutions for objects

ROTH International will handle the complete dismantling of your oil rig, independently of any external service providers.

Effective dismantling at sea.
Dismantling starts out at the sea. We cut oil rigs into separate elements and ship them back ashore. Our in-house developed cutting and separating processes allow even complicated disassemblies in the offshore sector. Separation cuts are made above as well as under water.

Transporting of materials for further processing.
We ship the oil rig parts ashore and transport them to Brake (Unterweser) for recycling. On shore, the parts are first stripped down into individual materials to prepare them for recycling. We supply recyclable materials to the secondary raw materials sector. We dispose of non-recyclable materials in a professional manner.  A certified waste management company according to Section 56 of the German Closed Substance Cycle and Waste Management Act (KrW-/AbfG), ROTH International complies with the standards and requirements for environmentally friendly disposal.

ROTH International also handles the disassembly and/or dismantling of other items such as:
